Fishing Report:
We have a sunny day on the Outer Banks this morning with temperature in the normal range for this time of the year. Fishing was slow yesterday. A few Blow Toads were reported in Frisco. A nice keeper Puppy Drum was decked on Jennette’s Pier.
I have a video for you to watch this morning. Outer Banks fishermen, Dave and Matt Lusk made a recent trip to Florida.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
It was another beautiful day and the fishing was good. The Point had small Blues, Flounder, Sea Mullet and Puppy Drum. The same report up and down on all the beaches. Hatteras had a good Drum bite. I received a few pictures from Avon but no names for the pictures. They added a Striper to the mix. Jennette’s Pier caught Shad and Dogfish and also there was some Whale watching.

The winds are NNW at 17 and the water is 48 degrees. Ocean is choppy, windy, sunny day.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
The weather is beautiful and the fish are biting. Can’t get any better than that for Feb. Red Drum were reported at the point and at ramp 55 up to 32 in size. Large Sea Mullet, Blow Toads, and Black Drum caught in Buxton. Frisco beaches also had big Sea Mullet and nice size Blow Toads. Sharon Newbold caught her first Drum of the year. A 27 in beauty.
Three boats sailed from Oregon Inlet Saturday and caught Yellowfin, Blackfin and Dolphin. A Private boat return to the docks with a 69 in Bluefin.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water is 46 degrees. The water is flat, balmy winds and Carolina blue skies.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
It was a nice day on this sandbar yesterday. No wind to speak of and the air temp improved. A few Sea Mullet and Toads were reported around ramp 44.
I have a little boat news. Salt Minded Charters have made their first trip of the year. They fished the creeks and caught a keeper Striper and Trout along with lots of throwbacks included some Puppy Drum as well.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water is 46 degrees. Flat Ocean, sunny and light winds.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
Some Black Drum and Sea Mullet were reported on the Frisco beaches yesterday. We have another cold morning. At least the wind has subsided. The weekend is looking good with a big warm up on sat. There have been a few Puppies caught at the inlet when we have had quick warm ups.

The winds are W at 4 and the water is 45 degrees. Calm winds, clean swells, overcast.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
There is no surf fishing news. Jennette’s Pier has been catching Skate all week and decked a keeper Puppy yesterday. The offshore fleet is catching Bluefin when the weather permits. Pirates Cove landed a 447 lb trophy Bluefin early this month. (Picture).
The winds are NW at 22 and the water is 46 degrees. Cold, windy, solid waves.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
There were some Black Drum reported in the Frisco area. Surf fishing is  really slow. Rob Finchem can always find a pond to catch another Bass.
The winds are SW at 8 and the water is 47 degrees. Cloudy, rain expected at noon, clean surfing waves and the surfers are out.

Happy Valentines from TW’ Tackle.
Hatteras reported Puppy Drum and Black Drum. It would be nice to see a rod bending Puppy on this side of the bridge.
The winds are ENE at 4 and the water is 46 degrees. Chilly morning, sunny, calm winds, choppy swells.

Fishing Report:
Despite a most beautiful day, I have no news from the beaches yesterday. There were a few surf fishermen trying their luck but not catching.
Only one more day to pick up that extra special Valentine’s present for the fisherman in your life.
The winds are NW at 17, gusting at 26 and the water is 47 degrees. High winds, sunny, cold, white caps.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
There were fish caught yesterday in Buxton and Frisco. Blow Toads and Black Drum were scattered on the beaches. Jennette’s Pier anglers hooked up with Skate.
Think TW’s for a Valentine’s gift. I can’t think of any fisher person would not appreciate some new tackle and a special shirt.
The winds are SW at 7 and the water is 46 degrees. The ocean is flat, little wind, sunny. Expecting the air temp to reach 70 degrees today.
