Surf Fishing Report:
There were Bluefish, Specks, Pompano, Sea Mullet and Spot scattered on the south beaches with Drum reported at Frisco, Hatteras, Rodanthe and the Point had a 51 in Red Drum. We had Drum reported at Oregon Inlet. Bluefish, Trout and Spot up and down the beaches. Dustin Lipscumb kayaked a 9 inch mullet 250 yds out to catch his Drum.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway has people fishing this morning despite the wind and catching small Stripers. As a matter of fact the direction the wind is blowing and the water is moving it is a good day to fish the Little Bridge.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 1 drum today a couple last night.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: One big Drum early.
Outer Banks: Slow.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No Report

Offshore Boats Report:
Boats stayed home.

The winds are NW at 25, gusting at 32 and the water temp is 70 degrees. Sunny, high winds, white caps

Surf Fishing Report:
It was a nice brisk fall day and fishing was good. We have a lot to look forward to on this sand bar.
Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Black Drum and Flounder were reported on the south beaches with some Puppy Drum. Drum fishing was good at ramp 2 and 4 plus Flounder, Sea Mullet, Spot and Trout along the north beaches. Joe White caught his big Trout at the Inlet. Mackenzie Roberts ask TW’s for a rod and reel that would catch fish. And he and his new Diawa did.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Trout.
Nags Head: Bluefish and Trout.
Jennette’s: Spot, Trout, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout, Sand Perch, Black Drum and 1 Red.
Outer Banks: Bluefish, Black Drum, Specks, a keeper, Spot and a few Spanish.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore and nearshore was back into the big Spanish again weighing up to 9 lbs. Bluefish and Speckle Trout.

Offshore Boats Report:
The Offshore fleet was back at it and a good day it was. They brought home some Yellowfin, plenty Blackfin, Big-eye; good size Dolphin and a few Wahoo.

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Rainy, breezy, flat Ocean.

Surf Fishing Report:
It was a chilly day yesterday and with the strong winds it felt much colder than recorded. A good number of Red Drum and slot Drum were caught at the Cape. Red Drum were reported at Avon as well. Scattered Bluefish up to 5 lbs along the south beaches. There were Puppy Drum reported north of the inlet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout with some keepers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Trout and some Drum.
Nags Head: Trout and 5 Drum
Jennette’s: Spot, Black Drum, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout, Speckle Trout, some keepers, Perch, Pompano and 15 big Drum doing the night.
Outer Banks: Gray Trout, Black Drum, Pompano, Spot, Sea Mullet and Speckle Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No report.

Offshore Boats Report:
The boats stayed in the creek.

The winds are NW at 6 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Sunny, light winds, calm Ocean.

Surf Fishing Report:
Plenty Bluefish reported on the south beaches with Puppy Drum in Buxton. There were reports of Puppy Drum at Pea Island. North of Oregon Inlet Trout is plentiful up and down the beaches, Black Drum, Bluefish and Pompano. At Coquina beach Puppy Drum and one big drum reported.
The Ocean is rough this morning and fisherable. It’s Puppy Drum water. Just find a good slough and drop a line.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, a few keepers.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Trout and Spot.
Nags Head: Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Spot and 1 big Drum.
Outer Banks: Black Drum and Specs.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore anglers catching False Albacore and Spanish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet returned to the creek with a generous amount of Blackfin, Yellowfin and Mahi.

The winds are N at 19 and the water temp is 71 degrees. Overcast, windy, rough Ocean.

Surf Fishing Report:
Nice size Bluefish were along all the beaches. The point reported big Drum. Spanish on metal and Pompano were caught in Buxton. Also Puppy Drum scattered. Good Trout action on this side of the bridge with some Puppies, Bluefish, Black Drum and small Sea Mullet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some trout this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: one big Drum early morning and small Trout.
Nags Head: 25 in Puppy Drum small Trout.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Black Drum, Croaker and Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Bluefish on the end with gotchas

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Some Spanish and Blues near the beach and in the inlet. Trout and Stripers in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
No Report.

The winds are NW at 56 and the water temp is 72 degrees. Raining this morning, clearing later, light winds, clean swell.

Surf Fishing Report:
Fishing continued to be good yesterday with Avon and Buxton catching Spanish 2 to 3 lbs and Bluefish on metal and bait. Bluefish were caught every where all day. Frisco and Hatteras reported some Pompano, Trout and Specks with the Bluefish. We have on the north beach’s Bluefish, Pompano and some keeper Trout, Puppy Drum at the inlet. I am told there is bait every where this morning.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Striper and Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot, Bluefish, Pinfish, Trout and one large Drum.
Nags Head: Trout, Bluefish and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Gray Trout.
Outer Banks: Spanish and Blues.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers are catching plenty big Spanish, Bluefish and false Albacore. Sound fishing is fair with boaters catching Trout and Stripers

Offshore Boats Report:
Not many boats fished yesterday but the ones that did were rewarded with plenty Blackfin Tuna and some Dolphin.

Surf Fishing Report:
Fishing was good along the south beaches with Pompano, Black Drum Spot and Sea Mullet. Bluefish reported at ramp 49 and 32. Puppy Drum and Puppy Drum at the point. North side of the bridge there were Drum and nice size Bluefish reported in Oregon Inlet and Nags Head. Pompano, Sea Mullet, Trout, Black Drum, Spot and nice size Bluefish, 3-4 pounders along all the beaches.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Nice Bluefish and Trout.
Nags Head: Lots of Trout with keepers, Bluefish and good numbers of Spanish.
Jennette’s: Pompano, Bluefish, Spanish, Spadefish and Pinfish.
Outer Banks: Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Spot.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers decked some King Mackerel and plenty big Spanish and Bluefish. Inshore Speckle Trout and Stripers.

Offshore Boats Report:
Off shore fleet returned to the docks with their coolers filled with Blackfin, Mahi and King Mackerel.

The winds are S at 11 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Overcast, breezy, choppy swell.

Surf Fishing Report:
There were Puppy Drum reported at the Cape. Sea Mullet, Spot, Pompano scattered from the surf and some 18-24 inch Bluefish at ramp 32. Spot, small Bluefish, Black Drum and small Trout north of the inlet. Big Drum reported in Corolla surf.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and Spot.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spanish, Spot, Trout and big Drum.
Nags Head: Spot, Black Drum, Croakers and Trout.
Jennette’s: Pompano, Blues, Trout, Spot, Black Drum and Flounder.
Outer Banks: Spot and small Trout.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore and Nearshore had a fantastic day catching very large citation Spanish, up to nine lbs.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet was finally back at it and having a good day. Offshore reeled in Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo and limited out on Dolphin.

The winds are E at 6 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Sunny, light winds, choppy ocean.

Surf Fishing Report:
The Outer Banks is in its clean up mode. Again. It was determined we had sustained winds at 45 and gust nearing 60. It played havoc with our sound side as I stated in my fishing report yesterday. And looking at the sadness all over, we have been lucky so far this hurricane season.
A few Puppy Drum and a big Drum reported at the point.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some small Trout and Spot this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish and Black Drum and big Drum all night.
Nags Head: Trout and Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Black Drum, Pompano, Spot, Trout and caught 8 Red Drum during the night.
Outer Banks: Mullet, Black Drum, Spot and a keeper Flounder.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
No boat news.

Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet stayed in the creek.

The winds are W at 2 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Sunny, no wind, large clean swells.

Hurricane came through the Outer banks fast and furious. Major sound side flooding in Kitty Hawk, Wanchese, Bay drive, Colington, Duck and down town Manteo was under water. Flooding water also breached the Manteo causeway. HWY 12 on Hatteras Island was impassable Thursday night. Just naming a few. Power lines, trees down and power outages. The National weather service reported sustained winds 47 and gust 53 at 9 pm.

Surf Fishing Report:
A few Drum were caught at the point early Thursday.

Pier Fishing Report:
There are a few people fishing the piers this morning. Not catching yet!

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore anglers caught Trout, Flounder and bottom fish.

Offshore Boats Report:
No report

The winds are NW at 14 and the water temp is 74 degrees. Sunny, windy, rough Ocean.
