In Summary:

Fishing Report:
I have nothing to report from the beaches. There was some action out of Oregon Inlet this week. A couple of charters brave the elements and return to the docks with some Yellowfin in their boxes.

The winds are SW at 7 and the water temp is 38 degrees. Sunny, nice day, calm winds, clean swells.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
We had a refreeze last night and that should be the last of our road problems. We will have a quick warm up today and a nice weekend. The 2 inch snow that was predicted turn into 9 in. The Outer bank is a beautiful site to see wrapped in snow with children sledding down Jockeys Ridge and building snowmen.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 38 degrees. Sunny,  small swells, calm winds.

Fishing Report:
I am not sure but it looks like we got more snow than before. The good news it’s not going to hang around as long. It is 23 degrees this morning. Snow picture from my deck.
Frisco beaches reported keeper Drum beached again for Wednesday.
The winds are NW at 22 and the water temp is 37 degrees. Bright sun, cold, rough Ocean, windy.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
There was a heavy frost this morning. A beautiful day on the Outer Banks. Good conditions today. There should be Drum caught. Snow in the forecast tonight.
Harry Morgan bagged a couple of drake woodies in Currituck. Duck hunting has also been decent on this side of the bridge.

The winds are N at 7 and the water temp is 39 degrees. Sunny, calm winds, chilly, med swells.

Fishing Report:
Sorry I am late this morning. Unavoidable.
The weather is so cold. The wind chill is 22 this morning. I am so over it.
Glad I got that off my chest. They tell me the water was really murky and they caught upper slot Red Drum at ramp 55 and Frisco.

The winds are NW at 14 and the water temp is 37 degrees. Overcast, cold day, rough Ocean, windy.

Fishing Report:
I have nothing to report for Sunday. A few people were riding the beach, not fishing and some people finding beach glass. And there was football.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
There was a good upper slot Drum bite on the north side of the point in the afternoon. There were also Black Drum caught. Anglers on the Frisco Beach also caught some nice size Drum.
TW’s Hampton Sylvia said it’s been fun catching Drum is January.

The winds are N at 22 and the water temp is 43 degrees. Sunny, extremely cold day, windy, rough Ocean, white water beyond the pier.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
Friday was a soggy day. Constant hard rain and wind from morning to night. I have no fishing news this morning. I am told the weather is going to turn frigid cold again this week.
There have been Seal sightings. Brad Howard sent a picture taken at ramp 4. Seals stop in occasionally on the Outer Banks to take a snooze and rest. The National fisheries Service Marine Mammal Network tells us stay a certain distance, watch to see if they are hurt and let them enjoy the beach without any aggravation. . Humans are not to feed or come within 50 yards of them. Seals are protected by the Marine Mammal Protection Act.

The winds are SW at 13 and the water temp is 45 degrees. Sunny, clean surf, the surfers are out this morning.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
The Drum bite was good from the point to Hatteras yesterday. Lots of slot Drum and some over the slot Drum were beached. There were also Trout caught as well. Shrimp and jigs were some of the bait of choice. It is not unusual to catch a Drum on a Trout rig. Apart from a good bite it was also a beautiful day on the beach.
Jennette’s Pier anglers caught Dogfish and Sharks.

The winds are S at 20 and the water temp is 42 degrees. Rain, warm day, med surf, windy.

In Summary:

Fishing Report:
Anglers are having luck catching Puppy Drum jigging with ZMan and Berkley grubs in the Frisco and Hatteras area.
It is the perfect day to grab your tackle box and go fishing. The conditions are great. The temperature is going to push 60 degrees today.
I should like to remind everyone again I answer every e-mail I get. If I spend extra time on your question then I ask for a reply so I will know you received it. If you did not get an answer to your e-mail you should check your junk boxes.
