Surf Fishing Report:
There are scattered showers again today. A few Pompano and Sea Mullet were reported yesterday. Surf fishing would be tough today but I see a couple of fishermen on the beach giving a try.
The winds are NE at 18 and the water temp is 79 degrees. The surf is rough this morning.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout and Croaker.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish using fireballs on cut bait. Spanish.
Nags Head: Blues, Mullet and Spanish.
Jennette’s: False Albacore, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and Sea Robin.
Outer Banks: Small stuff.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats are bringing in Spanish, Blues and Albacore. Inshore caught Spanish and some keeper Trout. Open boats caught Flounder, Croakers, Spot, Sea Mullet, Puffers, Trout, and Pinfish. Pirates Cove wreck fishing trip had nice catches of Triggers, some Sea Bass and Amberjack thrown in.

Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet filled their boxes with nice catches of Wahoo and limits of Dolphin. There were 17 White Marlin releases, 8 Blue Marlin releases, and 5 Sailfish releases today.
